Well, I just found the primary I’m gonna watch closest in the spring. Not Fisher v. Brunner – Sestak vs. Specter in PA. Largely because Sestak looks like he’s gonna tie Arlen Specter to Sarah Palin.

This could be a gold mine for Democrats in [...]
As we all know, I like nothing better than a little blog fraud.
So where does that leave us? A Virginia-based consultant/former Kasich staffer is running blog posing as an Ohio political blog that just happens to be primarily focused on promoting and defending the candidacy of John Kasich while also hypocritically demanding that the government [...]
I haven’t really been paying attention to John Kasich’s gubernatorial campaign, but that will likely change. Looks like Ted Strickland will have a race, and well, it’s just really unfortunate that Kasich is the opponent.
Kasich is the putrid manifestation of every failed Republican economic ideology that ever infected our country to the point that we [...]
This guy is such blog gold.
Gubernatorial candidate Kevin Coughlin released a hit piece this morning connecting John Kasich to Ted Strickland on gambling. While I’ll have more on this later, I did just learn something particularly disturbing.
Kevin Coughlin sent the e-mail hit piece out while at the funeral service for State Senator Robert Schuler.
See, you [...]
A 2 point lead over Kasich is a bit concerning. I put it down to the terrible economy, which continues to get worse, despite some hopeful signs. However, I’m not really all that concerned for Ted.
First of all, Kevin Coughlin, despite his philandering, legal threatening, chest thumping, and now, totally absurd response to some thorny [...]
So Republican party leader Rush Limbaugh says that James W. Von Brunn, the shooter at the Holocaust museum yesterday, was a lefty. Huh. That’s funny, because in all my time interviewing Republicans at McCain Palin rallies (here, here), with McCain voters (here, here, here, and here), and at Republican sponsored Tea Parties in April (here, here, [...]
It would have been difficult for Kevin Coughlin to win a primary for governor in 2010 even if he weren’t exposed as a philandering, threat issuing, puke of a human being, who is now a defendant in a First Amendment case. But winning that primary wasn’t Coughlin’s goal – his goal was to make enough [...]
Modern Esquire is apparently loaded for bear for 2010 already.
So, Kasich won’t allow himself to be interview regarding his exploratory bid for the governorship. Won’t disclose the details of his Fox News contract, his speaker fees, or his tax returns. And, he’s been employed by a scandal-plagued investment firm that famously collapsed this fall, but [...]
I agree.
Don’t get me wrong. Strickland isn’t a shoe-in. But these developments definately favor him and with a reported over $1.2 million on hand, one wonders how much Strickland’s campaign war chest and fundraising abililty may convince Kasich to find something better to do in 2010 than ride the rubber chicken circuit in Ohio.
There’s something [...]
Now why would a tip like this make it to MY in box? Hmmmmm....read on.
