Tampa town hall erupts in a brawl.  Who could have predicted.

UPDATE: It’s the Glenn Beck group 9/12 project.  And the Republican Party.

Instead, hundreds of vocal critics turned out, many of them saying they had been spurred on through the Tampa 912 activist group promoted by conservative radio and television personality Glenn Beck. Others had received e-mails from the Hillsborough Republican party that urged people to speak out against the plan and offered talking points to challenge supporters.

This is what Republicans do with online organizing.  They organize riots.

UPDATEx2 – A teabagger at the event suddenly realizes who she’s joined up with.  In response to this comment on the local 9/12 project tebagger message board….

Great freedom loving patriots celebrating liberty by shouting down the lies of the big government crowd and exposing the truth.

She writes this….

Freedom loving patriots celebrated liberty by knocking down a disabled woman and starting a fist fight with someone. I feel sorry for the people who went there to learn, whether it was to support or criticize. Too bad they weren’t allowed to speak.

UPDATE3 - Video from a teabagger trying to get into the packed main hall.  It shows a teabagger trying to keep the door from being closed, and getting removed from the door physically by what appears to be first some guy, then a cop.  After  the doors close, the teabaggers start banging on it, at which point the cops re-open the door and appear to post someone outside the door to keep them from banging on it.

UPDATEx4 – Closer in view of the scuffle around the door.  The cop has to get the guy off the door, and then is left outside to deal with the mob.
