blogger interrupted

Talking to a friend on the phone just now, discussing why we seem to be bursting into uncontrollable spasms of laughter in the 24 hours since Sarah Palin resigned.  She named it “The Palin Effect”.

Symptoms – You’ll be sitting alone somewhere, maybe reading a book, or having tea, and out of the blue, you find yourself smiling uncontrollably, then bursting into laughter.  As strong as marijuana, it’s a kind of euphoric glee, but not long lasting.  However, it does recur without warning.

I suspect Democrats will suffer from this affliction for some time.
