This gets better all the time.  Apparently, Lee Fisher is going whole hog for lobbyist money by replacing Eryn Campbell with a guy known for his hardball tactics setting up dinners with lobbyists and his candidates for enormous sums of money which are then bundled and pocketed by the campaign.  Lovely.  That sure worked for Hillary!

Working on getting a name, but at this point, it looks like Lee really has tapped out his traditional fundraising base and is going to sell his soul to lobbyists.  Which I guess is what you do when you’ve spent 25 years in Ohio politics and you draw about 20% in a Democratic primary poll for US Senate.  

Funny thing is, Lee should know that two can play that game – does Lee honestly think dinner with a lobbyist is going to somehow be exclusive to Lee?  Lobbyists read polls, too.  If they give Lee $25,000 for dinner, that’s a bet they’ll hedge by giving money to Brunner, too.
