BSB sat on contradictory Fisher interview for 7 days
Wed, Mar 11, 2009
This BSB Lee Fisher interview is getting fishier by the minute. It appears the video which includes Lee’s diatribe about seeking the ODP endorsement was uploaded to BSB front pager Nick D’s Youtube account on March 4. The previous day, March 3, Modern posted at BSB this response from the Fisher campaign on whether or not Lee would seek the ODP endorsement.
According to Lauren Goode, Fisher for Ohio spokewoman, the campaign has “no comment at this time.”
That video, completely contradicting Lauren Goode’s statement the day before, sat at Nick’s invisible Youtube account for a week before getting posted to BSB. So it’s clear that Nick knew his fellow front pager Modern was getting, and reporting, a different line from Lee’s campaign than Nick was getting, and not reporting, from Lee. Nick in a comment here even says he knew of the inconsistency.
Why did it take the video 7 days to go from the Youtube account to a post at BSB? In addition, why didn’t Lauren Goode try to clear this up? Surely Lauren Goode also knew her candidate had given this interview, knew what Lee said, and knew it contradicted her own statement.

Actually she didn’t. Nick has already said that Lauren wasn’t in the room for that interview.

come on, dave. the press secretary didn’t know about an interview lee gave to a blogger at OYD, where she was setting up the interviews? so what if she wasn’t in the room, that doesn’t pass the smell test.
