Redfern hides from blogger questions on blogger conference call
Thu, Feb 19, 2009
So I got onto ODP’s “US Senate Race Update” conference call (aka WASTE OF TIME), after getting an invite but not the phone number from ODP, got screened for my name and blog, and was let in. Great success!
Unfortunately, I wasn’t allowed to ask a question. The moderator said “press star 1″ to ask a question…I pressed “*1″ repeatedly toward the end of the call, and the moderator then says “no further questions at this time Mr. Chairman”. At which point, Fernsy says “call me anytime if you have further questions, thanks very much!!”
This is why no one wastes their time bothering to call you, Fernsy. Fernsy likes to complain about, and this conference call was largely a whine about, how bloggers opine and never call him to get the “real” story, or ask him questions. Well, no one calls you to ask questions Fernsy because you are a transparent bullshit artist, not even willing to take a question on a conference call from an invited blogger, who you decided wasn’t going to be allowed to ask questions. Grow up, already, for god’s sake.
So here’s my question.
Fernsy said,
“No amount of bad mouthing Chris Redfern is gonna change that the ODP has a process for pre-primary endorsement whether you like it or not.”
Touchy! This is how I guess Fernsy is gonna hide behind an inevitable ODP endorsement of Lee Fisher. My question was going to be, “so are you saying there is NOTHING the chair can do to prevent an endorsment process?” Pretty simple question, Fernsy. Feel free to answer when you bloody well feel like it, asshole. I know what the answer is, maybe you can test me out to see if I’m right!!
Memo to bloggers – next time Fernsy gets in your face and tells you to call him before shooting your mouth off, go ahead and just shoot your mouth off. You probably know the truth, and Fernsy has no intention of shooting straight with you anyway. Which is why I never call him!

Do we have any details on the pre-primary endorsement process and who is involved?

joe, that would be a question. no questions allowed.

Pre-primary endorsement process:
Ron Malone and AFSCME people say about 3 months prior to primary day, “let’s have an endorsement vote next Saturday at ODP HQ.”
Candidates come and speak, then the vote is held. In the event of an anticipated close vote–an impossibility due to a stacked executive committee–Ron Malone and AFSCME votes count for 10 votes each.
Endorsement over.
This isn’t too far off, is it?
