VIDEO: PD front page; Browns humiliate Giants – and 73 ACORN forms

If anyone had any doubt that Cleveland Plain Dealer publisher Terrence Egger is a wingnut partisan, and his sidekick Joe Guillen is his stooge, today erases that doubt.
Last night, on national TV, the Cleveland Browns utterly humiliated the Super Bowl champion New York Giants. Of COURSE that will be major news in the PD. Right next to it on the front page?
Above the fold?
ACORN.
And not just any ACORN story. An ACORN story about a 19-year old kid who turned in 73 potentiall….POTENTIALLY erroneous forms. 73, out of the 65,000 forms ACORN turned in to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections. Read the story. THERE’S NOTHING THERE. There’s so much nothing there, no one was charged, and the only result was 2 registration cancellations, and 1 person being told to vote provsional.
This is what David Iglesias was referring to on Terry Gross’ Fresh Air last week. Iglesias said that a well-timed, however bogus, “voter fraud” investigation, in a place like Cleveland, where black voters can be easily scared away from registering, let alone voting, can shut down black votes. Well, Terry Egger and his goon Joe Guillen are attempting to do just that, by putting a clueless 19-year-old on their front page.
If I’m black, and I’m in Cleveland, I’m going to vote on November 4 with a packed lunch, a chair to sit in line, and some good gospel music on my IPod, because you’re going to have to OVERCOME. And consider it a badge of honor that people like Terry Egger and Joe Guillen are trying their damnedest to scare you off.
I ain’t afraid of these people. And neither should you be. Eyes on the prize, people.
I got so mad about this, I videoed myself ranting in the driveway right after I woke up to get the paper.

They’re preemptively generating excuses for the loss.
They’re attempting to invalidate the results before a single vote is tallied.
Every time I’ve accidentally stumbled over to FOX News in the past week, it’s been a story about ACORN / Voter Fraud or Wright / Ayers.
Perhaps they can all collectively get up and move to Alaska, join up with the AIP, and prepare for the “war”/rapture.

I had to read the Cleveland Slick Dealer article for myself. What the lazy ass reporter failed to mention is that by LAW, ACORN canvassers have to turn in every single voter registration form that is filled out EVEN if someone writes in Mickey Mouse.
This is a distraction and minor in comparison to voter caging.

Can everyone clog up The Plain Dealer’s phone lines please? Also, flood them with letters to the editor?
Egger and Guillen are not election officials, so these should be OK.
