Is Patrick Poole on the loose?
Njie was one of several affected when a suspected chemical irritant was sprayed into the mosque at 26 Josie St., bringing Dayton police, fire and hazardous material personnel to the building at 9:48 p.m.
Someone “sprayed an irritant into the mosque,” Dayton fire District Chief Vince Wiley said, noting that fire investigators believe it was a hand-held spray can.
According to fire dispatch communications, a child reported seeing two men with a white can spraying something into a window. That child was brought to the supervising firefighter at the scene.
Gee, wonder where anyone got the idea to gas muslims in their own mosque in Dayton?
Also on Sunday, members of several Dayton religious groups were scheduled to view and discuss a DVD about Islamic radicalism mailed to some area homes and circulated with newspapers here and around the country.
“Obsession: Radical Islam’s War Against the West,” was a paid advertising insert in the Dayton Daily News, Springfield News-Sun, Hamilton JournalNews and Middletown Journal, all owned by Cox Ohio Publishing, on Monday, Sept. 22. It appeared in more than 70 other newspapers nationwide.
The Rev. Gary Percesepe, executive director of Greater Dayton Christian Connections, characterized the DVD as “fanning the flames of fear and prejudice against Muslims, with the potential to inspire hate crimes.”
Partick Poole, everyone’s favorite obese white male Ohio wingnut pretending to save America, is giddy over this DVD, and even blames Muslims for fanning Muslim hate in response.
Well, the second round of Obsession DVDs has begun hitting Ohio homes, as seen from the mailer above which arrived here yesterday. This very well may push extremists like CAIR over the edge. CAIR has already demanded an FEC investigation into the organization, the Clarion Fund, who is sponsoring the DVD distribution. And in Toledo, Muslim groups are in a state of near hysteria, claiming that they are living in fear because of the video drops.
Thus, in a curious turn of events, CAIR is directly responsible for Islamophobia, telling Muslims that they need to be afraid.
So in Patrick Poole’s psychotic world, I guess it was a Muslim who tried to gas other Muslims in a mosque on Saturday.

Trying to make Patrick Poole the center of attention really gets me to speculating if this story (which is highly questionable in the first place) is simply being used as a platform to attack political enemies in the blogosphere. Sunnis have been involved in violent confrontations with Shiites and Ahmadiyyas in the USA and while it is very unreported it cannot be seen as a trifle. The Obsession DVD link with this supposed attack is a pure contrivance that was probably thought out beforehand by Islamic media types who want to keep up the image of Muslims as victims.
