Politics

Moron posts video.  Moron pulls video.

Stuart Shepard, director of digital media at Focus Action, the political arm of Focus on the Family, said the video he wrote and starred in was meant to be “mildly humorous.”

But complaints from about a dozen Focus members convinced the organization to pull the video, said Tom Minnery, Focus Action vice president of public policy.

“If people took it seriously, we regret it,” Minnery said Monday.

Moron doesn’t realize that what he’s praying for would be the most incredible pictures in the universe, i.e., 75,000 people standing in a driving rainstorm cheering on Barack Obama.

Moron catches PB’s eye.  Moron makes me smile.

I was at one of the last Grateful Dead shows with Jerry, at Buckeye Lake.  60,000 people.  It rained like Armageddon.  Dead opened up with the Beatles’ “Rain Song.”   Jerry opened the first set with this lyric.

Rai - ai - ai - ain……I DON’T MIND!!!
