Visit your Grandma on vacation - ELITIST!! Uppity Negro! Tsk Tsk!!
Barack Obama chose to go on vacation this week in Hawaii, because his grandmother, who raised him there, still lives there. Now, in a normal universe, going to visit your GRANDMOTHER in your HOME TOWN on vacation would be considered the cutest, most wonderful expression of humanity, and yes AMERICAN-NESS, anyone could imagine.
But because Barack Obama is an elitist uppity Negro who beat Cokie Roberts’ girlfriend Hillary, it’s a no no. It’s TOO ELITIST to visit YOUR GRANDMOTHER in the place WHERE YOU GREW UP.
I’m really glad I slept through this today, and didn’t spend any time trying to get this video. I’m glad someone else did.

You are right on this count.
The problem is that most Americans don’t live anyplace exotic like Hawaii.
At a time when most Americans are struggling to pay for gas, groceries and their healthcare, for Obama to jaunt off (most people will assume paid for by his campaign) and worry about keeping photographers away from a private resort preventing pictures of his 7 minute abs.
It does seem elitist.
EVEN if it envy…for the sake of his image, Obama should have visited his Grandmother before he started campaigning.
Most Americans don’t identify with any of that.
