Is the new publisher of the PD, Terrence Egger, a total wingnut?   When Jason Werner, certifiably insane wingnut bigot hate monger, got arrested right under the PD’s nose for disturbing the peace, it didn’t make news.  Today, the PD reports the charges have been dropped.

Werner said he plans to resume his preaching on the street corner. A citizen’s free-speech rights were taken away, but a higher power intervened, Werner said.

“I see it as a blessing,” he said today. “God can do a lot of good.”

Higher power?  Is the PD now in the business of justifying a crazed insane person by letting him cite higher powers in a quote?  Guess so!
