Maybe this is why Berea police let John Quinn, Obama heckler, off the hook - feds on their tail

PD reports, screaming from the front page, above the fold.
Federal prosecutors want to know whether Parma Board of Education member J. Kevin Kelley and former board member Richard Ress tried to influence traffic cases in Berea Municipal Court.
Prosecutors have asked the court for any records of correspondence since Jan. 1 from the two men regarding traffic citations, according to a copy of a subpoena obtained Wednesday by The Plain Dealer.
The subpoena demands that a court representative appear Aug. 26 before a federal grand jury. In a telephone interview, court Clerk Ray Wohl said he will appear and said investigators questioned him about whether Kelley or Ress had any influence with the court.
This Cuyahoga FBI raid is burgeoning. If the Berea police are this corrupt, it’s no wonder they have zero interest in an actual security threat to a presidential candidate in their city. Why bother.

There’s no Berea police department corruption in this. The Berea police department is a separate entity from the Berea Municipal Court - and in fact, the police and the courts are frequently butting heads over various issues and cases. The Secret Service determined that the journalist Quinn was credentialed, and recognized that he has the constitutional right to free speech, and since he didn’t physically threaten Obama, there was no action they need to have taken. Given that the US Secret Service didn’t see fit to take action, the local police certainly aren’t going to, since security for a candidate’s event is the domain of the secret service, and local police simply act in support of them. So you Obamamaniacs can stop whining and face the facts: your candidate is not the messiah, inspiring rapt adoration in whoever sees him.
By the way - I’m married to a Berea police officer, so I KNOW. I also know from the meeting between the Berea police and the secret service before the event, that the secret service “can’t stand the guy (Obama)”
Go chew on that….
