John Aravosis spam filters me, asks about my “experience regarding elections”
Tue, Aug 19, 2008
This is so hilarious. In response to my email of this post, here’s what Aravosis had to say.
Well, my friends who are concerned are people who have worked on both Democratic and Republican elections, and who are experts on elections. What’s your experience regarding elections, Tim? Don’t write me again. You’ve pretty much proven that you’re an asshole. You’re in my spam filter now.
Anyone wanna tell John what my “experience regarding elections” is? I can’t. I’m in his spam filter. I think i should call the wahmbulance.

I can see why you so often elicit the “you’re an asshole” response, Tim. I don’t have the time or patience to be concerned with how people “feel” about what I do or what I have to say. Life’s too short for that crap. I imagine you have pretty much the same perspective.
If I were ten years younger and still cared about others’ opinions I’d copy and paste your resume into an email to this oh-so-sensitive jerk.

Ok, you talked me into it, although it didn’t take much. One of the many pet peeves I’ve developed over the course of my lifetime is when people question my knowledge of a topic in which I’m very well versed. Actually, it happens quite frequently because I’m just a “regular joe non-professional” who happens to have many interests about which I’m not afraid to offer advice or an opinion. So many times I’ve had to apologize to people for not completing college and never attaining that popular degree in drunkenness and assorted tomfoolery.
