Scattered among the hysterical veepstakes media catatonia, like rotting snakes hissing out their last breath, were the remnants of Hillary-land complaining about how she didn’t get called, didn’t get short-listed, didn’t get vetted, blah blah blah. And today, even TODAY, some PUMA-types are whining about Joe Biden.

The 3 a.m. call came.
And it wasn’t to you.
And it wasn’t to Hillary.
The era of Clintonia is over. It’s date and time is set precisely on my birthday, August 23, 2008, at 3 a.m. Who cares if the 3 a.m. thing was planned or not. It is sublime in its perfect alchemy of irony with comeuppance. She didn’t even get a 3 a.m. phone call, she got a 3 a.m. TEXT MESSAGE, along with the MILLIONS of us who got the same thing. Hillary really IS just like me!
Memo to PUMAs - kiss my hope-filled, change-bringing, Biden-loving, McCain-bashing, yesterdays-news-enjoying, O-Train-riding ASS. Goodbye, good riddance, and may your loud rantings in Denver be so loud and ranting that you are portrayed as the pointless jerks that you are on national television.

I can imagine what your reaction would have been if it would have been Hillary.
But you are right, party unity does not appear to be on the horizon for some.

I never understand posts like these from Obama supporters. I myself have traded in my Hillary support for my Obama support and am now fully on board with the presumptive nominee, but still . . . I always find vitriolic posts like this from Obama supporters to be unnecessary and harmful to party unity. I don’t agree with P.U.M.A. and think they’re being childlike and stupid, but I also find posts like this childlike - it’s like the kid in 6th grade whose football won and then he pranced around the playground for the rest of recess (or the rest of the month of recesses?) making sure everyone remembered that he was on the winning team. No one liked that kid and it wasn’t very helpful to his relationship with his classmates. Same thing here - it doesn’t make it easier for Hillary supporters to come over to Obama when this is what we face when we get here…

Hi ols, don’t disagree. Problem is we tried unity. Blew up in our faces. Moved to step 2 which is ridicule. You don’t fight insanity with reason.
