Judith Czelusniak, a spokeswoman for Bloomberg News, confirmed today that Mr. Quinn was on assignment for her company. “He was hired for that assignment, and there are no more assignments scheduled,” she said.

Hi Judith,

I wanted to follow up with you on your photographer’s behavior on Tuesday at the Barack Obama event in Berea, Ohio.  I have video of Mr. Quinn, and want to know how he was hired.

Her response.

Hello. Mr. Quinn was hired as a freelance photographer for this assignment. No future assignments are planned. 

That, as we lawyers say, is non-responsive.  So I replied.

Thanks for the info which I was able to get from the Chronicle story, but i have other questions.

Have you used John Quinn before?  How many times?  At which presidential events?  How did you recruit him?  Were you aware that he was going to act in this manner?  Has he ever acted in this manner while under your employ?  Were you aware of his political party affiliation?  How much did you pay him? 

This man became a security threat at a presidential campaign event while on contract with Bloomberg.  I believe it is important that Bloomberg clarify your relationship.  Thank you.

Awaiting more.  I think it rather astounding that Bloomberg would admit to hiring John Quinn, and then be completely dismissive of the obvious questions which flow from that.
