Tony Snow, meet St. Peter.
Unlike Jesse Helms, who St. Peter probably didn’t take too long to point in the direction of Satan’s asshole, Tony Snow may have a little more ’splainin to do. Doubt he gets in. Snow was a lying enabler of one of the worst disasters in American foreign policy history, whose only qualification for government work was his big mouth. As such, he was the perfect caricature of what passes for public service in the Republican Party, and I’m sure St. Peter has a few thousand American soldiers behind that pearly gate who’d like a word with Mr. Snow before he leaves the premises.
The “R.I.P”’s today on Ohio wingnut blogs are probably wishful thinking.
