blogger interrupted

Wingnut Republican blogger Matt Hurley is tying himself in knots over the New Yorker cover, otherwise known as Matt Hurley’s Wet Dream.  Eric calls him out.

So how disingenuous does one have to be to claim the moral high ground and scoff at a liberal leaning magazine for printing something that has been in his and the collective right’s psyche for some time now?

The answer? Very.

Not only that, but Mr. Flip Flop himself can’t make up his damned mind. First he posts that “I Condemn the Liberal Magazine New Yorker” (that’s the title of the post), then he tells Tim via email:

    Well, Tim, the New Yorker isn’t a conservative magazine and quite frankly, I don’t really give a damn what the New Yorker does…

So then Starfleet Commander Matty updates his post with incoherent babbling.

UPDATE: I reject the premise of their argument. They continue to assert that conservatives are supposed to care what a liberal magazine says about their candidate. John Sidney McCain has been consistent when it comes to throwing people under the bus who have even suggested something negative about Barack “The Fear Word” Obama. If condemning a liberal magazine makes the liberals feel good about conservatives, I’m happy to oblige…but don’t think for a minute that doing so is an acknowledgement of the premise of their ruse. THEY think these things about Obama…not conservatives. THEY are the ones who wrote the article and drew the cover. Again, don’t buy this nonsense…

UPDATE 2: Something else just occured to me… 

Then Matty retires to Glass City Jungle to babble some more.  

It appears that the New Yorker cover has put our friends in the Ohio rightysphere into a tight spot.  They don’t know what to think.  So I really just have one question for Matt Hurley.  

Do you believe the substance of the New Yorker cover or not?  Yes or no will do.

i’m not asking you about the depiction matt. i’m asking you about the substance. let’s make this clearer for you.

do you believe michelle obama is a terrorist?

yes or no.

C’mon, Matty, it’s easy.  Yes.  Or no.

UPDATE x2 - Hurley caves.  Which of course is hysterical, given that his entire blog is devoted to what he now claims is false.  Thanks Matty!
