John McCain is not constitutionally eligible to be president.  Bottom line.

In the most detailed examination yet of Senator John McCain’s eligibility to be president, a law professor at the University of Arizona has concluded that neither Mr. McCain’s birth in 1936 in the Panama Canal Zone nor the fact that his parents were American citizens is enough to satisfy the constitutional requirement that the president must be a “natural-born citizen.”

Of course, this doesn’t matter, because the Constitution never matters to the Republicans, and no one will ever challenge it seriously.  But the point is…Just imagine the volcanic Republican reaction if this applied to Barack Obama.  Every Republican blogger in the country would ejaculate onto their keyboards 24/7, raising money for wingnut legal outfits to challenge this in every court they could find, Rush would be calling Obama a foreigner, Fox News would go into overdrive on it….it would be total hysteria.

For me, I’ll just start calling John McCain a Panamanian.
