Tonight on Fox 8’s 10 pm newscast, Tom Merriman reported a potential connection with a November 2007, story, alleging contract steering by county commissioners on the Ameritrust Tower project.  Asked about this in November, 2007, Tim Hagan got angry at Fox 8 and screamed at them, ”The town SUCKS with these kinds of people who think all they can do is exploit people!”

Pat O’Malley’s attorney told Fox 8 that O’Malley’s case is not related to today’s events.  Yeah, right.

Kevin Freeman reported from outside Jimmy Dimora’s house.  No one answered the door when they rang the bell.  Media camped out for hours.  No sign of Jimmy, as the FBI filled a U-Haul with documents and a computer.  

Bill Mason’s office says they sent a civil attorney to the county offices to facilitate cooperation with the feds.
