We’ve all been there.  Family dinner, or something like it, and old coot relative suddenly blurts out what everyone is thinking.  Maybe Grandma says everyone KNOWS so-and-so is porking the next door neighbor.  Something like that.

To watch the MSM reaction to this New Yorker Cover is very similar.  Every single American knows that this ridiculous image is out there already, in the minds of Republican voters and their targets, and suddenly the crazy old coot draws the image and puts it on their magazine cover.  Zing!

The MSM has some responsibility here, and not the New Yorker.  The lies that have led to a magazine cover with this much total absurdity in it have been swirling for months and months.  Not one MSM outlet has ever done any serious reporting on it.  Not one.

No MSM outlet has tried to identify the source of the campaign.  No MSM outlet has even dared to utter the content of the campaign on the air.  No MSM outlet has even done much to correct the lies for the record.  The campaign has just gone on.  And on.  And on.  In secret.  To the point that this cover, with this much absurdity, is greeted in one of two ways.

It’s either greeted with a nod of agreement from the idiots who believe its content.  Or, it’s greeted with outrage that someone has finally put the entirety of the smear campaign into one image.

Now ask yourself.  If your child suddenly drew this picture, out of the blue, you’d wonder a few things.  How the HELL did my kid get these ideas in their head, for so long, so vividly, that this is the image they draw?  

The New Yorker editor was on MSNBC just now saying the cover holds a mirror up to these lies in order to expose them as such.  Perhaps the MSM just looked in the mirror too.
