Above is the draft media buy for Tim Ryan’s 2002 primary campaign.  You’ll notice the numbers are larger than the buy ended up being….all campaigns wish with money they don’t have.

I’ve had a few people ask me, dude, what’s with the Tim Ryan stuff?  Aside from the obvious, that I would like a sitting congressman to stop lying about me and harassing my intellectual property, there’s a reason that other lefty bloggers should start telling Tim to cut the crap and come clean.  The 2010 Senate race.

If anyone thinks that Tim Ryan is going to run for the US Senate in 2 years without this issue coming up, i.e., what was your relationship with that weirdo Russo, they’re dreaming.  I brought this issue up with Tim 6 years ago.  My advice then, as it has been since, and as it is now, is clear.  Tim should deal with this issue, publicly, honestly, fast.  The faster the better.  Both for him, and for me.  Because if Tim Ryan finds himself in front of a bank of cameras one day being asked about me, that isn’t going to be pleasant for any of us, least of all yours truly.
