Anthony and I are buddies. If only he could get on board a winner, he wouldn’t have to parrot ODP’s selection for president in order to kiss up to potential clients the way his blog is.
As such, his blog has been a source of some consternation for me. And I must admit, when Anthony returned to blogging recently, I kinda ignored it. Largely because BlueOhioan has been a cess pool of Hillary talking points and Obama hate. I figured I’d wait until after the primary and see where his blog heads.
Well, Anthony, it’s time you got your head out your ass.

Listen, I understand where the frustration is coming from this morning on the side of the Pro-Obama supporters this morning. Your guy won, and his opponent didn’t throw in the towel. I’d be upset too. But seriously, WTF?
YOU FREAKING WON!
Barack Obama gave a fantastic speech last night, was especially brilliant and graceful in his tribute to Senator Clinton, outlined the terms of the fall debate, and called on all of us to come together to beat John McCain in November.
And you want to talk about Hillary. Again. And again. And again.
No. We don’t want to talk about Hillary, not ever again. In fact, if I never had to write another word about Hillary Clinton for as long as I live, I’d be the happiest blogger on the face of the earth. The notion that I, or any Obama blogger, wants to talk about Hillary is a fantasy.
Hillary wants us to talk about Hillary. That’s going to continue now until Saturday, when she’s forced kicking and screaming to do the right thing she should have done Tuesday night. And then it’s going to continue all summer while she and her vile sycophants campaign for a veep spot for which she & her husband don’t want to be vetted. And when Obama picks someone other than her, as he inevitably will, we’ll have to talk about Hillary some more, because said vile sycophants will throw a tantrum which the media will stampede over themselves to cover.
Just get on the O-Train already, Anthony. I can’t understand why the hell you weren’t on board from the beginning other than for business, but please just quit with the crap. There’s a seat on board with your name on it.

I’m stirring up the Kool Aid right now. I’ll be drunk on it by Saturday night.
As for Hillary…sorry, my reasons are my reasons. I’m not going to parrot ODP just for possible clients. Heck, most of my clients are mavericks anyway, which is why I’m going to work for McCain (TOTALLY KIDDING). Besides, didn’t I just come off a primary challenging a sitting Democrat? I hope people who work with me see that when they bring me in, they get everything I’ve got. I doubt most of them care who I supported for president in the primary.
Besides, I never said I didn’t LIKE Obama. In fact, I really, really liked our field of candidates this year. I would have been happy with almost any of them. I just liked Hillary best. I heard something on WCPN this morning that made me laugh a little. I missed which reporter said it, but the talk was about Ted being on the Obama ticket and the reporter seemed to suggest that his backing of Hillary could be a problem. My only thought was “really?” Our party is uniting behind the presumptive nominee, right. I can’t imagine anyone at the higher levels really cares who supported who during the primaries. It’s all water under the bridge. People move on. And we all get together to win. That’s what it’s all about.
