Politics

Now that this primary is over, and Barack is the undisputed nominee, we get to move on to the real enemy.  The GOP.

This picture is from the day Katrina ravaged New Orleans.  While people were dying, fleeing to their rooftops for safety, this is what John McCain and George Bush were doing together.

I’ve made the argument before that the GOP has turned America into Charles Dickens’ London, a place where the rich fly at 35,000 feet and give each other birthday cakes while the rest of us are left to eat the crumbs that fall from that cake.   That’s the battle this fall.

Here’s my first foray into the general election, where I tried to meet John McCain and ask him a question, complete with John McCain’s utter inability to read a teleprompter.  Dickensian, it certainly is.  Wear your pearls, honey!
