Why isn’t Progress Ohio using its email list to oust Marc Dann?

So here’s how Brian Rothenberg describes his scintillating writing.

The columns normally come out weekly on Friday, but Brian says he’s making no promises while he’s taking no prisoners.
Cringe-making.
My question is not when a shadow from on high might grace us with its “witty commentary”, my question is why isn’t Progress Ohio using its email list to recall Marc Dann?
Seems like a no brainer to me. Put a PDF of the signature collection form in an email to the hundreds of thousands of people on Progress Ohio’s email list. Ask everyone to get a few sigs. Hit send. Collect the forms. Bingo. Marc Dann is gone. It would take a matter of weeks.
I’m not holding my breath, given the cesspool of conflicts of interests that Progress Ohio actually is, but maybe they’ll surprise me. After all, Marc Dann is no longer an elected Democrat. He’s plainly not a progressive, given his uncontrollable tendency to fuck over women, literally and figuratively. It would make sense for Progress Ohio to use its list to make Dann gone.
C’mon guys. Take no prisoners.
