blogger interrupted

So I keep getting all these tips in my inbox, on the phone, that Matthew Barrett’s resignation from the Ohio House over naked women hotness on his laptop is a lot more interesting than it seems.  I start calling around for the story.  And Todd Hoffman from ODP sends me a nasty email.

So this leads to a phone conversation with Todd, who does the “let’s manage the bloggers” Two-Step, in fine ODP tradition.  Gee, we’d really like to work with you man, blah blah blah. And during this conversation, Todd flat out lies to me.  Tells me he’s never heard this story.  I’m the first one he’s heard it from.  Not true, Todd.  Not true.  And you know it.

Memo to people who talk to bloggers.  We REALLY don’t like being lied to.
