Ben Espy is a good man, has a lot of integrity, and a lot of support statewide.  He is now tied into this Marc Dann farce, and through him, Ted Strickland.  Just watched the pre-Dann pres conference with Ben Espy, after which reporters are heard saying, “WHAT?!”

Espy clearly states he has no power to do anything to Marc Dann.  And after Q&A, Espy says that his investigation never asked key people, like Dann himself, or Dann’s wife, key questions about how the entire human resources operation of the Attorney General’s office became subject to the sexual dalliances of the staff.

Most interesting, Espy noted that they discovered emails had been destroyed, but there’s no word on who, or how, or why.  Just that they were destroyed.
