Jerome Armstrong on London politics?!?

Politics

So, this is completely laughable.  I’ve spent more time in UK politics than Jerome Armstrong spent pumping stocks in the 1990’s, blogging in the 2000’s, and reading the stars, combined.  I worked in UK politics in 1997, 2000, 2001, 2003, and 2005, and I can safely say that the presence of a moron like Jerome Armstrong in UK political circles, even among the loonie Lib Dems, is about as welcome as a flatulent jackass at a tea party.  But let’s go to the analysis!

The fall of Labour provides a good opening for Liberal Democrats– they can be in a pivotal position for 2009, when the next national elections will be held. The Lib Dems elected a new leader, Nick Clegg, over the winter, and have the potential to once again finish in the top two in the national projected share of the vote on May 1st.

I mean, it almost isn’t fair.  I realize that Jerome is probably now the most hated blowhard in the lefty blogosphere right now for his brainless Hillary shillfest, and that everyone would like to shove whatever tarot cards he’s been reading lately up his ass, but I must step in here and add a little reality.

The Lib Dems have not been in the top two nationally among the political parties in Britain since before Armstrong’s grandfather was born.  They won’t be on May 1st, either.  As for London, I’m told Ken Livingston is likely to be re-elected.  Enough said.

Maybe I’ll get to Armstrong’s equally asinine West Bank/Gaza visit sometime soon, but I doubt I’ll have the patience.  I can only suffer that fool so much.
