So here’s a video of Bob Serpentini, who somehow managed to get a ticket for the front row of the Democratic debate in Cleveland in February.

Who’s Bob Serpentini?  Well, he’s the most annoying car salesman in Northeast Ohio.  And a raving, ranting, chest thumping Republican, whose ads during the 1990’s were more Rush Limbaugh than car sales.

“Citing Bob Serpentini’s “American and proud of it!” car dealership spots, one consumer declares, “He uses his commercials as a soapbox for right-wing homilies, and there are some folks who won’t set foot on his lot because of that.”

Serpentini’s commercials spouting right wing lunacy have been Cleveland lore for years.

“As for where to buy, I would never buy from Bob Serpentini, but that’s only because his commercials irritate me and he’s a right-wing Republican.“

Now, what would Cleveland’s own Bill O’Reilly car salesman be doing in the front row of a historic debate between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton? According to the FEC website, Serpentini has given $6,000 to George Voinovich since 2000, and gave Stephanie Tubbs Jones $500 during that period (gotta be nice to the folks where the dealership sits!).  And according to the Ohio Secretary of State’s website, he gave $900 to Betty Montgomery in 2006.  Aside from the many thousands he’s given to automobile dealer PACs, Bob’s been pretty miserly with his cash.

Maybe that’s because Bob already put his mouth where his money is for years.  Serpentini spent the entire decade of the 1990’s urinating all over the Clintons 15 seconds at a time, every day, repeatedly.  So I’m gonna guess he wasn’t at the CSU debate as a Hillary supporter.

So does this mean Bob Serpentini is on board the O-Train?  If so, welcome aboard Bob!  We’re Americans, too, and we’re prouuuuuuud of it!
